About:
  • Hardcoat anodizing produces superior hardness and density
  • Hardcoat aluminum wears better than hardened steels
  • Hardcoat anodizing may be provided in target thicknesses ranging from 0.5 mils to 3.0 mils. Hardcoating changes the dimensions of the basic part, however, unlike plating only half of the hardcoat is buildup and the other half is penetration.

Bright Dip Anodizing

Bright dip anodizing
About:
  • Bright Dip anodizing achieves a highly reflective finish similar to the quality of plating. In contrast to plating, Bright Dip is a chemical process that brightens aluminum and does not leave deposits on the surface of the part. The degree of brightness is dependent on the type of alloy as well as the surface finish of the parts.With some alloys it is possible to get a reflective mirror-type finish.

Electrolytic 2-Step Anodizing

Electrolytic 2-step anodizing - colorful solutions for look & durability

About:
  • This is an anodizing and coloring of aluminum. After anodizing is complete the parts are immersed in a coloring tank to achieve a variety of colors. Color intensity is achieved by immersion time in a bath containing an inorganic metal solution.

  • Black and all shades from Champagne to Dark Bronze
